Welcome to our farm and our Web site. We are extremely glad that you stopped by for a visit with us. We have assembled some outstanding genetics as well as some scrapbook items and information that we hope you find not only enjoyable, but also informative.

A&J is owned and managed by Anita & Jack Thayer. We do all the work and all the marketing on our farm, almost all of which at this time is by private treaty. We have had a lot of input into our program from folks raising commercial cattle and in many cases by other Angus breeders whose advice and help have been so important to our continued progress. We strive to be an excellent source of Angus genetics with a herd that is managed with integrity. Our cattle are mated with bloodlines that will produce top quality animals. When our cattle are sold, we want our customers to have accurate, up-to-date information on them.

Our health program is designed and supervised by our veterinarian, scheduled routinely twice a year to insure that we have healthy cattle. We have excellent nutrition by continuously feeding liquid feed, VITA FERM minerals, fertilized and weed free pastures, and the very best hay we can raise. Our policy is to sell something that we ourselves would buy.

We also feel that it is important to be active in the community. We try to participate in FFA-4H activities, parades, festivals, our local Chamber of Commerce activities, dinners, and auctions for volunteer fire departments & youth. Last but certainly not least is our participation and support of our church. We take our faith very seriously and feel blessed by what we have been allowed to accomplish.
